Job Description WASTEWATER CONTROLS (IC) ENGINEER III AECOM Water is looking to hire an INSTRUMENTATION CONTROLS (IC) ENGINEER III to support project work based in our Manhattan office. The ideal candidate will coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical and senior IC engineers. Design and develop PIDs, specifications and I/O point databases. Identify appropriate instrumentation and define corresponding equipment and process monitoring and control strategies. Qualifications: * BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering required. * 7 to 12 years experience working primarily in the Instrumentation and Control (IC) discipline. * Minimum 2 years direct experience with water/wastewater utility IC applications. * PE or ability to obtain registration within one year required. * Experience with pressure, flow and analytical instrumentation, motor control and monitoring circuit electrical interfaces and electrical ladder diagrams. * Experience with IC application, design and implementation including PLC, DCS and SCADA systems hardware and software. Related telecommunications and LAN/WAN design experience is a plus. * Familiarity with PLC programming and HMI configuration software. * Experience with engineering design services and engineering services during construction. * Experience with control systems start-up and commissioning a plus. * Experienced with MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
