Working in the Water, Wastewater and Waste Operations Team you will be responsible for the effective operation of the water intakes and treatment operations associated with Council's Water and Waste Water facilities. Key aspects of the position include monitoring treatment plant processes, collecting wastewater and water samples and completing daily data and reporting logs.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate a strong work ethic with an ability to work well as part of a team and an unwavering commitment to quality assurance and workplace safety. Ideally you will have experience with Telemetry, SCADA and PLC systems together with experience in recordkeeping, and recording information about water quality and treatment plant operations.
A Certificate II in Water Industry Plant Operation is essential with Certificate Ill highly desirable.
