Wealth Management Operation Manager recruitment
The candidate needs to have minimum 6 years working in a local securities firm; experience in China security market and understand security regulatory rules. The main role of the candidate is to support the processing of Exchange listed products and OTC funds in Security company. This role requires successful candidate to have management skills, strong interpersonal skills, good team work, good spoken and written communication skill both in Chinese and English.
His / Her responsibilities will include the following:
• Manage the Equities Settlement team daily activities which include settlement of domestic / QFII client transactions executed in the Exchanges or fund houses and the relevant controls.
• Allocate the resources in the team to support the various Run-the-bank and change-the bank activities.
• Supervise and manage the daily cash payment process in relation to trade settlement with Clearing House, 3rd Party custodian banks and other counterparties (e.g., fund houses).
• Ensure all internal control processes like trade reconciliation, maker/checker principle, etc are strictly followed through. Assist team head to develop effective control standards.
• Understand local regulations (CSRC/SAFE/PBOC) and assist to prepare operations related regulatory reporting requirements for Head Office and Trading Outlets.
• Act as the key escalation point on client clearing and settlement issues.
• Be in charge of Equity and WM client settlement process improvement and system enhancement related.
• Escalate Equities operations issues to team head/OPS head and address/monitor the resolution accordingly.
