Alexander Black Recruitment is urgently looking for a Service Delivery Project Manager to join our high profile client.
Our client is the best known wealth management and broker services software provider in the globe they have offices in over 9 countries and their clients consist of all the major investment banks and Asset Managers. This role sits within their Wealth Management Group.
The role reports directly to the CEO of a multi-national software firm, so offers a very significant strategic position in a brand that is well known throughout the wealth management sector. You will be able to drive the business with new products as well as steering current projects in the most effective way.
The Service Delivery Project Manager will manage the UK Support to ensure the business has a strong operational understanding of clients and that production support services meet agreed SLA’s.
This role has 2 elements managing the support team as well as managing clients needs from a delivery point.
You will be responsible for:
- Project and account management
- 4 Direct reports and dotted line responsibility of 25
- Managing and motivating all project management staff.
- Maximize use of products services within existing clients.
- Understand future release content and be able to explain this content to the client
- Negotiate with clients on future client funded enhancements and negotiate the delivery of the enhancement
- Efficiently respond to clients for resolution of issues updates.
- Ensure key processes for UK Support team are followed through in a timely manner.
- Ensure service levels are met or exceed client agreements
- Continuously review Client Support Management policies and procedures
Candidates must have:
- Commercial experience of Account and Client Management
- Experience of Project Management in the financial software WM space
- Experience of Wealth Management specifically pensions and SIPS
- Strong commercial background in financial software and technology
- Background from a software vendor
- Understanding of SDLC and Service delivery
- Experience of Wealth Management, specifically investment products or sips
- Business Analysis understanding
- Understanding of the typical system development
This is a unique opportunity for someone to make a step up to a senior strategic role in a business. You will have a background in Analysis, Professional services or Account management and understand how to deliver results to a client. In return my client offers a superb bonus yearly (Last year 20%), as well as progression to either head of PS, UK Business Head or head of infrastructure. You should be driven and interested to gain some serious financial software experience.
