Job Description: Wealth Planner
Our client is a leading Global Private Bank. Due to their growing business needs, they are seeking experienced professionals to join their expanding Wealth Planning team.
Wealth Planners in the team will work closely with Private Banking Relationship Managers to provide wealth structuring strategies and solutions to high networth clients of the bank. This includes tax planning, setting up of trusts, estate planning and insurance planning amongst others.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
• Actively supporting Private Bankers in client meetings, presentations and after-sales activities relating to various aspects of wealth planning.
• Follow legal, political, tax and economic developments in specific countries and apply this knowledge to client situations
• Manage and develop internal relationships, and providing ongoing education and training to Private Bankers
• Participate in marketing events as and when required
Requirements
• At least 10 years of working experience of which at least 5 years was spent in Wealth Planning. Tax professionals with experience in Individual Tax Planning and Consultancy (ideally gained in a Big 4 Accounting Firm) or Trust and Estate lawyers will also be welcome to apply
• Familiarity with legal and tax system of one or more jurisdictions and experience in providing legal, tax and structuring solutions for private individuals
• Know-how and experience in sales marketing
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills, overall an excellent communicator
• Successful track record in a highly demanding and dynamic environment, while consistently a good team player
Fluency in English required; knowledge of an additional Asian language would be a definite plus
