Wealth Planning/Trust Relationship Manager, Director – Private Banking recruitment
Top Private Bank providing wealth management services to clients all over the world extending their Trust business is now looking for a Relationship Manager to join their Wealth Planning team. This position is based in Hong Kong.
As a Relationship Manager you are representing this bank’s trust companies in order to generate and facilitate trust business. You are responsible for all trust related (after) sales that do not require the trustee discretion/presence.
Your main responsibility will be to build and maintain relationships with both settlers and beneficiaries, dealing with all trust structure related issues. You coordinate all technical and/or operational matters that rise with the trustees, internal functions and external parties and keep up to date with any changes in regulations that may affect the structures. You will be working together closely with the Trust operations department in order to serve clients the best-in-class service.
You will be expected to recognize and act on new business opportunities such as injection of further assets into existing trust structures, cross-selling of (banking) products and new net income for the bank.
Your performance will be measured by trust reviews, trust revenues and clients satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years relevant working experience in a (private) bank or trust company
- Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
- Highly organised with an eye for details
- Proven analytical talents and ability to multi-task
- Great sales and marketing skills
- Problem solver with a helicopter view on business and client’s needs
- Excellent communicator with ability to explain complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Relevant bachelor (or higher) degree
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is a must, Mandarin preferred
