Web Analytics Analyst Job in New York, New York US
Specialty Retailer is currently seeking a qualified Web Analytics Analyst.
Web Analytics Analyst: Responsible for identifying, analyzing and reporting key performance indicators for all web marketing initiatives for a high-end specialty retailer. This position is a key role with high visibility and the opportunity to advance quickly.
Position reports to Director of Web Marketing.
Position is located in Manhattan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Create, update and distribute ecommerce reports. Analyze and interpret data and historical trends.
· Provide statistics on KPIs, page views, related selling, site visits, etc. in an effort to improve overall customer experience and maximize sales.
· Develop insight-based analysis to communicate trends and opportunities. Share POV, next steps and deliverables.
· Establish key metrics against which business performance can be measured and benchmarked.
· Partner with ecommerce team leaders to determine success measures for new online initiatives.
· Deliver standard and ad-hoc analysis. Use techniques such as path analysis, click-thru reports, segmentation and campaign attribution.
· Evaluate current reporting tools to identify and implement improvements and changes.
· Collaborate with team to ensure consistency of information and reports, share best practices and develop systems knowledge.
· Support Merchant Team with special reports and analysis (returns, customer surveys etc)

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· 4 year degree or equivalent years of experience
· 5 - 7+ years of experience buying/merchandising/planning or other retail industry experience
· Retail apparel experience is preferred
· 1-3+ years of E-Commerce/web analytics using tools such as Core Metrics, Omniture or Magento eCommerce retail experience preferred
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation, presentation and process implementation
· Strong computer skills, strong data base skills, strong reporting tools skills
· Technical knowledge in web based systems and application software would be a plus
· Omniture certification is a huge plus
