Web Analytics Consultant -London, Omniture, Test Target, Google Analytics
My client is a fast growing start-up / early stage company created by a number of high-flyers from Google. Despite being a "young" company they are already creating a glowing reputation within the web consultancy arena, with a number of renowned house hold names signed up as Beta partners, delivering consulting and technology solutions which allow eCommerce functions to realise further revenue opportunities. This has been achieved by developing ground-breaking and market leading products using the latest technologies and techniques. They are looking for someone to work closely with their eCommerce clients (most of who are in the retail space) who has strong experience of Omniture, has previous experience of working in a small team and is passionate about data.
You will need to demonstrate strong analysis techniques, particularly using Omniture and will work closely with project teams to provide the analysis needed to provide strategic direction further monetisation opportunities from their web presence. You will work on a consultative basis to provide Omniture reporting and analytics expertise to their client base. Work alongside Senior Analysts to create strategies for measurement and tracking of website activity. Help build custom reports and dashboards for client projects. Track and analyse web site performance, trends and paths to provide data driven BI. Audit the available data for self consistency and against common understanding and meaning.
Experience / profile required;
- Ideal candidates are self-motivated, intelligent and fun people.
- BSc in computer science or other courses with significant programming modules,
- Expert web analytics platform knowledge, with particular expertise in Omniture. An Omniture accreditation is advantageous.
- Excellent understanding of website analytics and metrics and previous experience dedicated web analytics role.
- Demonstrable experience of creating reports, dashboards, custom metrics, and ad hoc analyses and the ability to work with large quantities of data.
- Client-facing experience with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to technical, analytical, and business audiences.
