Description:
The Information Technology department of a national non-profit is seeking a Web Application Developer. Responsible for analyzing, defining, designing and building stand-a-lone and integrated technology solutions for Easter Seals both locally as well as in its software as a service environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
§ Works with the project manager and subject matter experts to identify business and technical requirements, prepare project plans, and propose best suited solutions.
§ Implements solutions based on business requirements and needs of internal customers.
§ Develops code in conformity with Easter Seals development standards.
§ Develops reports, dashboards, and processes based on internal stakeholder requirements.
§ Thinks creatively and works independently, while effectively communicating with project managers and business stakeholders.
§ Troubleshoots issues with application, technologies and infrastructure and is directly responsible for service reliability.
§ Defines, communicates, and manages a change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications.
§ Documents technical solutions in a timely and comprehensive fashion.
§ Manages ongoing support, data cleansing, and database de-duping processes.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of post secondary education and experience; prior education and training in a technical related field such as computer science or engineering
- Minimum of three years of salesforce.com administration and integration experience as well as developing solutions on the Force.com platform
- Proven track record of successful salesforce.com implementations
- Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services
- Experience with JAVA J2EE development a plus
- Experience with other CRM software a plus
