Web Architect / Senior UI Developer (Web, User Interface, GUI, HTML5, JavaScript, Java). Global leading Investment Bank is seeking a skilled Web Architect to join the operations team responsible for IT planning and technical innovation throughout the firm.
As a Web Architect / Senior UI Developer you will design and develop compelling user interfaces to demonstrate architectural change to senior stakeholders, building polished working demos for architectural prototypes to explain technology innovations, working with IT management and the business to plan and target state UI architecture.
This is a superb opportunity to gain experience in planning and enterprise architecture while still remaining hands-on with the latest technologies and making a real impact on the business.
Requirements:
• Expert knowledge of HTML5 and JavaScript (including JavaScript libraries)
• Ability to clearly communicate architectural vision and priorities, experienced with stake holder management
• Good knowledge of Java and Java web frameworks
• Windows GUI development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Degree educated
• Desirable: XML, XSD, XPath, XQuery, MarkLogic, ISO 20022 / SWIFT, FIX, FpML, CEP and rules programming, GWT, Scala and Lift, Gemfire. Spring, UML, BPMN, Archimate
