A global manufacturer of consumer electronic products is looking for a Web Consultant to join their team in Surrey.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

As part of the IT Shared service centre of The Client Group, the main responsibility of the role is to develop, support and maintain application systems. This role will require communication and travel across Europe at all levels, knowledge of project management, business understanding (B2B, B2C) as well as ASP, .NET DB skills.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Development and implementation of new applications as required
Responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of existing applications
Service desk requests

Conversant with concepts of Hi-Tech Business model of B2C and B2B in a multi-national and multi-company environment

Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance
Able to communicate at all levels within Client Group and in the customer companies with people for whom English may not be the mother tongue.
Willing to travel to client sites to advise customers on improvements and work towards a consistent approach to web business maintenance and development matters.

EXPERIENCE:

Essential experience of project management handling develop proposal, business requirement gathering, resource management, issues handling, deliverable management and issue solving
Enough experience of implementing and maintain systems using ASP, ASP.NET, C#.NET, VB.NET
Working in a large multi-national company in a support and development role.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Highly motivated and willing to take responsibility for full system.
Largely autonomous role and comfortable with working with managers within IT and within the business.
Ability to liaise with internal and external customers at all levels
Good internal knowledge of manufacture industry B2C and B2B business
Good experience of ASP, .NET projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Well presented, professional and dedicated
Must be prepared to travel to customer sites
Good understanding of ITSM process and service desk operations

SALARY BENEFITS

£30,000 - £35,000 basic annual salary depending upon experience
15% OTE discretionary bonus per annum
