Position Description:

Summary:

The Website Content Specialist will be a member of the Marketing Communications team and will be responsible for managing content changes to the Dräger US and Canada websites through a CMS, and assisting with other online marketing activities as needed and assigned.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and manage website changes through a CMS.

Help to coordinate web projects across departments.

Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web properties and implement Dräger and current web standards.

Assist in the development of site content and design strategies and tactics as needed.

Assist with implementation of SEO, SEM, Social Media and Newsletter tactics as needed.

Keep current with emerging web technologies through relevant blogs and other current web standards publications and ongoing education.

Education:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Web Technology or related Marketing or Communications field, or comparable combination of education and experience.

Experience:

2-3 years of experience working with in a CMS, preferably Sharepoint and/or Interwoven TeamSite.

Ability to work well and efficiently both independently and within cross-departmental teams for web related projects.

Knowledge of design and implementation of architectural solutions for web content management applications.

Some experience with UX, SEM, Social Media and Newsletters.

Excellent communication and time management skills.

Proactive project management and problem-solving skills.

Competencies:

Proficient with a CMS, preferably Sharepoint or TeamSite or both.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SAP and CRM experience preferred.

Experience with Java, XML and CSS.

Experience with web analytics tools such as Omniture or Google Analytics.

Familiarity with digital media formats, wireframes and Photoshop.

Familiarity with the creation and implementation of email newsletters and associated platforms.
