This position manages the content of the web site. This person will be responsible for building and maintaining the facility web site, department home pages and physician home pages for Napa Solano. This person would also be responsible for uploading provider photos to exisiting systems and participate in physician on-boarding in respect to creating the physician's home page. This person would represent Napa Solano at Regional Meetings regarding facility home pages. Essential Functions: - Maintains existing web content creates new applications that add value to the web site - Evaluates the use of new integrated content, implements as applicable, works with end users stakeholder groups to address change requests, as well as defines future functionality - Works with IT communications other areas to coordinate content ensures adherence to national web standards - Participates in cross-functional groups to identify documents functional requirements, workflow, information sources for the web site - Performs related duties as assigned or requested Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - Typically 3+ years experience in the computer industry with one (1) year experience programming in C, PERL, Visual Basic or other programming languages - One (1) year experience with Web technology including HTML and CGI programming preferred - AA degree in computer science or equivalent experience - Familiarity with basic concepts behind HTML - Familiarity with Netscape Enterprise Server, MS Internet Information Server, or other Web servers - Understands the authoring languages, relevant Web technologies, content/application pieces, and graphics in sufficient detail to coordinate, design, and structure Web sites - Strong MS Word skills to format documents before feeding into the automatic HTML conversion software - Ability to assist non-technical end users to format documents in Word to facilitate the automatic conversion process - Must be able to work in Labor/Management Partnership environment Preferred Qualifications: - High organizational skills with the ability to create organizational processes for maintaining historical page build information. - Strong writing and editing skills. -Excel. Word, and Tridion experience preferred. -Good customer service skills. -Good communication skills verbal and written. Skills Testing: Microsoft Excel and Word.
