Web Designer
Position Objectives:
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and energetic Designer to join our rapidly growing Interactive team.
Working in a collaborative team and on the project level under the direction of the Creative Director, the Designer is an innovative creative thinker able to translate ideas and concepts into useful and memorable interactive marketing, web and motion-based designs. Attention to detail and ability to uphold and deliver work at the highest quality standards is essential. Passion for design in all media is essential.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Designing solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives
- Creating interactive design concepts
- Designing mood boards, storyboards, interactive page layouts, site grids and interface demos, photo retouching and enhancements, animated GIFs
- Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables
- Building and maintaining team rapport with creative staff, account managers, and project managers
- Foster a Studio environment that is on-brand: Collaborative, Trusted, Insightful, Innovative, Ingenious, Memorable, Pioneering, Agile, Driven, Passionate, Diverse, Analytical
Education Skills:
- Strong design portfolio with 4+ years education, 4+ years design and interactive work experience
- Ability to articulate and present creative ideas
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
- A solid working knowledge of the latest versions of applicable programs – Windows/Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, FLASH, etc.
- Understanding of motion design and the strengths and limitations of traditional and emerging platforms
- Comprehensive understanding of interactivity and the Web and the fundamentals of information architecture
- Passion for design and eagerness to collaborate with other creative people
- Mature appreciation of the balance between creative and business opportunities
- Self motivated, organized and accountable
- Experience in Hispanic marketing preferred
- Bilingual preferred
