Web Designer recruitment
This is an excellent career opportunity offered by a prestigious global asset management house. Remit will be to work on graphics and production of bulk materials relating to the funds business (fact sheets, fund reviews, etc...) whilst also undertaking technical development relating to the transfer to digital publishing. This will involve use of Quark, InDesign, SQL, .NET, XML and Java.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential in addition to proven technical knowledge as the successful candidate will be required to work closely with technology and other business areas in order to achieve the successful delivery of projects. A pro-active approach and ability to work effectively in a change environment are essential
The successful candidate will have a strong hands-on graphics background, ideally from a production environment and practical experience of working with either Quark Express or Adobe InDesign. SQL experience and exposure to working with web related technologies are essential. The ideal individual will be a team player with creative problem solving skills, the ability to work independently and a good eye for detail. Some knowledge of the funds industry will be an advantage but is not essential.
