Web Designer/Developer Job in New York 10017, New York Us

Our growing financial services organization located in Long Island City, Queens is looking for our next Web Designer/Developer.  You will be responsible for maintenance of the organizational websites, design/ develop online and offline corporate/ marketing material and develop/ design custom solutions. Under the direction of the Website and eCommunications Manager, the Designer/ Developer ensures that our organizational website remains and effective tool for staff and members. 

 

Ø  Design, develop and implement marketing campaign in support of marketing initiatives.

 

Ø  Maintain and develop the websites.

 

Ø  Provide industry experience in Web Design/Development, Email Marketing, Social Media and Print.

 

Ø  Enforce all branding guidelines.

 

Ø  Design and develop online and offline forms and applications.

 

Ø  Assist the Marketing Associates with the design of online initiatives.

 

Ø  Help develop and implement overall goals for strategy on the web.

 

Ø  Understand and follow web/ technology / usability trends.

 

Ø  Provide recommendations to improve efficiency of the website.

 

Ø  Develop and maintain relationship with external agencies, vendors, and partners.

 

Ø  Maintain keen knowledge of UNFCU products, services, policies and procedures.

 

Ø  Develop a good working relationship with all Marketing team members.

 

Ø Perform other functions as requested by management.

 

 

Qualifications -

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a full range of interactive, print and web design experience using the Adobe Suite, front-end development (HTML, JavaScript, VBscript, CSS, JQuery) and backend or application development experience in C#, SQL, ASP,  as well as the skills/abilities to fulfill all the accountabilities described. They will also have strong oral and written communication skills and knowledge of current online technologies, trends and pricing. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and a proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and Visual Studio are required.

 

Camdidates will have graduated from a four-year college or university with a degree in Computer Science, Graphics Communication/Programming, or a related field, and have a minimum of two years experience in web development and online advertisement design.

 

This position does require programming, but will concentrate heavily on site maintenance and design.

 

Experience in Web Design, Print and Email Marketing are required. Experience in video and analytics are a plus.
