Web Designer/Webmaster - HTML, CSS, Flash, Illustration, Graphic Design, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Agile, Illustrator, JQuery, Ajax
European Investment Bank. Canary Wharf. User Interface Designer/Webmaster
£30k - £35k + Benefits + Bonus
Harrington Starr is working with a leading European Investment Bank to find a User Interface Designer to work on the launch of a new UK based site for the bank.
As the User Interface Designer (HTML, CSS, Adobe) you will be working directly with the site owner, editor and developer to design a new UK based site for this Investment Bank. This is an agile site and will need to be consistently updated with new content in flash and built using HTML5 and CSS3. You will be able to have full creative input and control on the site and will be able to influence the direction that this site takes going forward.
This site is the main portal to the Bank's trading operations and so you will pick up excellent experience with trading in CFD's, Equities, Options and FX and will be a great project to have on your C.V.
You will be able to do travel in the role to meet other Designers across Europe and will be able to attend the Bank's yearly party in Cairo, Egypt. You will be working directly with the Head of Marketing for the bank as well as with a range of creative agencies.
* Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 - Essential
* Working with Adobe Creative Suite - Essential
* Portfolio of Websites to use - Essential
* Experience with wire framing - Highly Beneficial
* Experience with JQuery and Ajax - Beneficial
