Job Description:
If you have a passion for building web applications and love working in a team, we want to work with you. We want you to play an active part in our backend development at a small, but very fast-moving web development shop. You’ll play with Coldfusion 9 and 10 (you don’t have to know it – but you have to be willing to learn), Amazon Cloud, Microsoft SQL Server, and you’ll touch JQuery, HTML5, and other front-end technology.
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
- Design, code, and test new features on our development road map
- Implement third party APIs
- Be part of weekly code reviews
- Actively participate in meetings with the product development team
- Actively read blogs, participate in the development community, and further your own education
- The typical intermediate developer stuff: liaise with customer support, bring ideas to meetings, discuss best practices, continually look for ways to improve the product, etc.

Desired Skills Experience:
Coldfusion is not mandatory – but you do need to know a web development language or two and more importantly, you need to understand software architecture.

We are opening an office in the USA and this job will be based out of Oakland. You’ll be the 11-12th full-time employee on the Vin65 team and one of the founding crew in our USA office.
