Primary Job Responsibilities Develop the presentation tier of the PayPal website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP taglibs, JSTL and JSP Collaborate effectively with Web Development team as well as Design, Product, Quality Assurance and Application Development teams advising on browser limitations, site speed, and accessibility. Follow web coding standards and guidelines with great attention to page performance, SEO, and accessibility. Participate in setting front-end coding standards and guidelines Identify and document best practices Provide architectural guidance and direction for the presentation tier Prioritize workload to meet deadlines for assignments in the code release schedule. Perform quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging and production environments. Stay current with the newest online technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations Assimilate business requirements quickly and design and develop robust, high quality applications on top of the Knowledge Base and Self Service platforms.
