Web Developer – ASP.NET, CSS, SQL – Remote option – 6 mo Contract Job in Winston
Client is looking for a web developer to help create world class user experiences on the web. It’s a small team with a start-up feel so creativity, self-motivation and the ability to get things done without needing a lot from other people is an absolute must. Client wants people who can give input, generate ideas and help set the overall direction of their applications. The web experience is just one aspect of the application, so this developer will need to know how to interact with other services and be able to develop an entire application based on provided design assets. If you’re interested in a fast-paced, accountable and fun environment where you get to build some really cool web apps, then this position is for you.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain web applications which includes (but not limited to)
• ASP.NET MVC3
• jQuery
• CSS
• HTML5
• EntityFramework
• SQL Server
• Great eye for user experience.
- Own the code and quality of the app. Strong pride in deliverables and work ethic.
- Familiarity with WCF, High Volume applications, and mobile applications is a plus.
- Whatever else comes up that we need in order to succeed. Wearing multiple hats will be a fact of life.
Qualifications
- 5+ years solid experience
- Proven track record of delivering awesome web apps.
- Ability to rapidly iterate.
