Web Developer( Job Number: O-FEWD) Description Summary: The eCommerce Application Development Specialist is responsible for the design and implementation of web and client-device platforms within the eCommerce Applications team at Domino's. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Software Development Write, modify, and debug eCommerce applications and solutions Develop web software with Javascript and HTML/CSS technologies Design unit tests for front-end application code Rapid prototyping of new ideas concepts Estimate the duration of design development tasks eCommerce Solution Architecture Collaborate with other architects and developers on the eCommerce platform architecture Design horizontally-scalable architectures for all eCommerce client devices (web and native platforms) Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS Mastery of JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and JSON development Mastery of HTML and CSS development, understanding of HTML5 Experience with JSP, Java, or C development 4+ years experience building JavaScript/HTML/CSS front-ends for viewing on multiple browsers and operating systems (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) 3+ years development/architecture experience in a web environment Experience with Unix, Linux, Apache, Tomcat, MySQL, Perl Experience debugging with Firebug or equivalent Test Driven Development experience in an agile engineering environment preferred (qUnit, jUnit) Mastery of bullet-proof standards and compliant front-end development Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or similar discipline Excellent team player with good communication skills Highly motivated by difficult problems cutting edge technology Open-source project participation preferred
