Morpace Inc. has an excellent full time employment opportunity for candidates with Classic ASP web development and SQL relational database experience. This position will maintain and improve in-house market research survey, data management and reporting software.
As a Web Developer at Morpace, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving custom web applications. Also, you will perform some server and IIS administration functions. In addition, you will train and assist internal users of the software, as well as work closely with project managers and other programmers to plan, execute, and verify features of software.
Requirements
· Bachelor degree, programming trade school preferred or work experience equivalent
· 3-5 years web application development experience involving web application development with Classic ASP using JScript (not VBScript).
· Experience with IIS 5.0, CSS, client Javascript, AJAX
· Proficient in math and programming logic
· Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively within project teams
· Must be willing to learn new programming tools as needed
· Experience with the following is helpful: Python, Pylons/Pyramid, SQLAlchemy, MySQL and Linux
· Experience with market research packages and statistical analysis tools is helpful. (SPSS Data Collection, Confirmit, Voxco, Sawtooth)
