Job Description
The Web Developer is a member of the RD development team, focusing on:
* creating new web based graphical user interfaces for our software modules, as well on maintaining, supporting and enhancing existing ones.
* designing and creating graphics for end-user portals
The ideal candidate has a creative mindset, is proficient in English, and is able to discuss design issues from a visual and functional (usability) point of view.
He/she will participate in analysis, design and QA to deliver high quality application software on schedule.
Main responsibilities
* End to end creation of commercial quality web graphics for end-user portals and for application GUI
* End to end creation and extensions of web based GUIs and for scalable client/server web applications, with focus on user experience and usability
* Quality assurance and performance assessment
* Documentation (design and implementation)
Technical skills
Operating systems:
* Proficiency in working with Linux based systems (back-end)
* Windows and MaC OS X based systems ( front-end )
* Knowledge of TCP/IP and HTTP protocols.
Programming Languages:
* Proficiency in PHP, XML, HTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX
* JQuery
* Dynamic web applications with SQL backends, in particular MySQL 5
* Knowledge of Photoshop or analog
