LifeWay in Nashville, TN, is seeking a Web Developer to be responsible for the design, development, and testing of enterprise portfolio applications. Strong collaboration and communication skills are required as this developer will work closely with other developers, within business units gathering requirements, conducting design sessions, and working alongside testing teams. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision where time-to-market is increasingly important.
Following are specific responsibilities required by this position:
· Web Skills – JSP; HTML; Javascript/Frameworks such as jquery
· Design/Architecture Skills – Strong understanding of major OO patterns; Strong UML concept; experience in designing application architectures
· Development Skills – Strong Java/ Java EE development experience; Strong framework experience (Spring/Spring MVC/Oracle JEE/Hibernate/JPA ORM tools); Grails; LAMP stack; IBM WebSphere Commerce Framework; Open-source code experience
· SOA Skills – Solid understanding of SOA; Experience with coarse-grained/fine-grained business services; REST or SOAP experience; ESB experience
· Testing Skills – JUnit test experience; Experience with Functional and Performance Test Tools
· Tools Skills – Ant or Maven; Eclipse; SOAP UI
