Harrington Starr is working with a leading Online Trading Platform based in the City of London to find a Web Developer (PHP, ZEND) to work in an agile team building an online trading platform.
As the Web Developer (PHP, ZEND, LAMP, JavaScript, HTML) you will be working both on supporting the existing trading platform and developing a new features and functionality that will be rolled out across and used by 1000's of users that currently use this online platform. It is a highly agile team of developers and you will be involved in daily scrums to decide the best way to move forward with the project. This platform is used to trade CFDs and spread betting and needs to be consistently updated in order to maintain this firm's competitive advantage. The key technologies that you will be using are the Zend MVC framework and Object Oriented PHP 5. You will also have the opportunity to use other front end technologies such as JavaScript and CSS3 and HTML 5.
This firm have been consistently growing their market share and are looking to invest significantly in new technologies and new developers for their team in order to continue this growth. You will be joining a fast growing area of the business and will be able to grow with the team.
As the Web Developer (PHP, ZEND, LAMP, JavaScript, HTML) you will need:
* Strong knowledge of Object Oriented PHP - Essential
* Experience with Zend MVC Framework - Essential
* Knowledge of JQuery - Highly Beneficial
* Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS3 or HTML5 - Highly Beneficial
* Experience in an Agile environment - Beneficial
