About the role: To create a wonderful customer experience across all platforms and places our customers visit, whether it be on the web, mobile, WES (web enabled stores) or via social media.
Responsibilities:
• As our leading ‘voice of the customer’ you will shape and execute the content strategy that helps our customers make their purchase and parenting decisions based on the best information we can provide, in the way they need it.
• Our aim is to try to bring the depth of information and wealth of advice that our customers expect in stores, into our digital platforms. To put it in context, beyond the technology itself, content is our biggest asset and our key opportunity to drive double digit growth in this channel over the next few years.
• Working hand in hand with our central editorial content and video teams as well as the wider online team, your role will be to ensure we have rich and detailed content assets for use across all of our platforms including but not limited to product description pages, advice and service information as well as all other rich media.
• At a practical level you will be responsible for delivering on a content schedule that will prioritised by BMR focus, customer insight, analysis of how customers interact with our platforms and the types of information they seek and SEO best practice.
• You will be measured on customer engagement across both selling and service KPI’s.
• You will also be required to share your resulting insight and usage reporting with the wider business.
About you: You will have demonstrable project management skills, exceptional writing skills, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Some experience in online retailing and content management would be desirable, teamed with an understanding of SEO.
