Job Description
Analyze, program, debug, and modify new media projects for a variety of clients including administrative, academic, and research units of Boston University. Write valid code, and perform comprehensive QA testing and debugging of websites to ensure maximum compatibility. Complete documentation including procedures for updating and maintenance. Maintain a state-of-the-art understanding of current and emerging new media tools, relevant to the departments needs. Participate in training workshops and knowledge sharing with colleagues and others as needed. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with Boston University Information Technology staff that provide technical development and support services for online products. Participate as needed in meetings and discussions to plan new services, improve existing services, and evaluate effectiveness of entire programs and internal processes. Manage the internal production of interactive projects throughout the projects' development and deployment phases. Work with client-facing project managers within Creative Services to evaluate project needs and execute websites of the highest quality. Interact with various departments, including managers, graphic designers, and end users to define project requirements. Act as customer service agent for Creative Services in any communications with University clients with a goal of 100% customer satisfaction.

Required Skills
Requires: B.A./B.S/B.F.A. or equivalent, proficiency with writing standards based XHTML, CSS and JavaScript code and markup, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac platforms, Flash, and three to five years of related experience.
