Specific Job Description The Systems Integration/Test Engineer position responsibilities include the following: ?Assist PK in coordinating day-to-day tasking and activities of test efforts in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including test plan creation and execution. ?Assist in running the test plan including manual testing ?Assist in writing and executing SQL queries to interpret test results and create test data ?Perform detailed data analysis as required. ?Conduct regular meetings, per PK?s guidance, to facilitate the flow of communication among team members and to identify and escalate project risks to management. ?Participate in project planning and estimation. ?Monitor progress against project; make corresponding scope and resource adjustment recommendation to management. ?Monitor and enforce test team record keeping?defect tracking, internal status reporting etc. ?Represent project team in meetings as appropriate. ?Collaboratively work with development team members to drive defects/issues to resolution. ?Facilitate testing status meetings with developers and business users when appropriate to prioritize and review status of defects and plan releases. ?Coordinate end-user support during acceptance testing. ?Proactively identify to the management team risks to the project; recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies. ?Coordinate testing across several projects. Standard Job Description Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
