Web Technologist (Job Number:303087) Description: MSBU has an opening on a fast-paced, dynamic program for a Web Technologist. The ideal candidate will have experience working with website and systems administration and possess a strong understanding of technical operations within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate would have years of experience managing web sites within the IC. Assures web server and site technology software and hardware security. Develops, assesses and communicates web site usage and security policies and standards. Assists in the planning or overall company strategy involving internet usage and makes hardware and/or software purchasing recommendations or decisions regarding web security. Requires knowledge of cutting edge commercial internet/web tools and protocols. Qualifications: Required Skills/Knowledge: ** Candidates MUST possess current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.** ** No exceptions. ** Minimum of ten years experience in systems hardware/software engineering, computer networks/security, and /or information technology B.S. Degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Management Information Systems) or equivalent work experience (five years for B.S.) in a related technical or discipline Experience with administering websites on Apache webserver Experience with setting up and administering websites on web hosting platforms Experience in analysis of network traffic Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux (CentOS, Fedora, Ubunutu) operating systems Experience training and educating officers on a recurring basis People interfacing skills critical. Individual works directly with a variety of customers from non-technical to engineering and security operations personnel. Must be able to work with different groups and personalities to accomplish mission goals Ability to work effectively and professionally in an environment where program and process changes are frequent. Must be comfortable handling day-to-day challenges and working out solutions to problems with minimal guidance, while using strong operational judgment. Excellent verbal and written skills are required Strong problem solving skills and methodical troubleshooting Adept at documenting all work, maintaining and following documented procedures.
