Web/Front/Back End Developers – Mobile Media Firm recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain complex software in an agile environment
• Document and build unit tests
• Work with operations, QA, and product management to maximize product effectiveness
• Work as a key member of the development team to execute innovative designs in an agile environment
• Contribute creatively to the design and development process
• Produce code from the ground up that utilizes cutting-edge techniques and is portable across browsers and devices
• Be involved in projects from brainstorm to delivery
Requirements:
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• For Web Developer: Development experience of web applications/pages using HTML, CSS, Javascript. Proficiency in Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Illustrator, and/or PhotoShop, prior experiences with mobile application UI design projects, proficiency with HTML5 and/or DIV+CSS
• For Front End Developer: Development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, experience with frameworks such as jQuery, YUI, MooTools, or Dojo and good working knowledge of server side coding (Python, RoR, PHP)
• For Back End Developer: Proficient in Python, Clojure and/or Java. Backend web development within frameworks like Django, AppEngine and Rails, PHP, MySQL. Knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla or Drupal
• iPhone applications development experience preferred
• Strong design sensibilities
• Basic English skills
• Ability to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
