DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT TASKS / DUTIES:
Task Description:
The Procurement Office of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Department of Treasury, is engaged in the Security Compliance Enhancement Project (SCE); the project exists to develop and implement a re-architected version of the existing web Request Tracking System (webRTS) / web Integrated Procurement System (webIPS) applications. The objectives of these re-architected applications are to: (1) Operate and comply with the IRS Enterprise Architecture environment (2) Comply with IRS Information Technology (IT) and Security, Privacy and Assurance standards
IBM is maintaining and modernizing the IRS procurement organization’s business systems to support the mission of managing requisitions and orders.
Duties:
· Design, implement and unit test application changes
· Analyze trouble tickets.
· Design, implement and unit test application fixes
· Generate data
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Strong Java EE / JSP development skills across the software lifecycle
· Ability to develop stored procedures against Oracle database
· Understanding of methods for developing secure web applications
· Strong team orientation and communication skills
