Midwest Tape, is a very customer centric, employee oriented company and we are looking for a talented, self-driven and high-energy individual to serve as Website Application Quality Analyst. 

Position Summary:

Responsible for conducting manual QA testing of new product releases, including websites and mobile applications. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, appearance, user experience or content.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Conduct manual QA testing of new product releases, including websites and mobile applications

·         Identify, analyze and document  program defects or opportunities for improvement, such as:  questionable    functionality, errors, bugs, inconsistencies and user experience improvement

·         Collaborate with website and application developers to resolve issues and improve the product

·         Make recommendations to improve user experience of website and mobile applications

·         Review requirement documents and create/execute test cases

·         Develop and document testing procedures and guidelines

·         Executing the test plan as scheduled and reporting results

·         Support continuous improvements in test coverage and test effectiveness

·         Submit bug / improvement tickets according to established procedures

·         Create or maintain databases of known test defects

·         Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures

·         Document test procedures to ensure standardization of practices

·         Evaluate or recommend software for testing or bug tracking

·         Perform additional business analysis as required by running reports, accumulating data, etc.

·         Assist with employee and continuous improvement initiatives

·         Ensuring quality communication with the SAP team.

Skills:

·         Excellent focus and strong attention to detail

·         Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet goals

·         Effective communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to communicate technical issues

·         Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

·         Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.

·         Advanced Computer skills, including Microsoft Office 2007 with particular emphasis on MS Excel abilities including filtering and pivot tables.

·         Familiarity/Use of Business Objects and data warehouse structures a plus.

Required Experience: 

·         Familiarity website design

·         Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of website / mobile application testing.

·         Experience with SAP is an asset, but not a requirement
