Job Summary:

Our Client is seeking a Website Software Developer to join their Site Development team. In this position, you will be part of a team of front-end developers that are responsible for the look and feel of our clients website. You will be responsible for the middle tier by integrating back end services with front end code (HTML, Javascript). You will have a good grasp of Java, SQL, Spring MVC structures, and the like and will be responsible for building simple-moderately complex services for front end developers. You will be proficient in HTML, CSS, Javascript and will spend approximately 10%-20% of your time coding in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. You must have experience with different browsers and cross browser compatibility issues. We are looking for self motivated individuals who are able to deliver small-medium sized projects (e.g. several days – several weeks) on their own.

Duties

· Develop Java/SQL services that will be used by the front end code of the website.

· Integrate front end code into our clients technology stack.

· Troubleshoot front end bugs that impact customers; ensuring that customers have a high quality experience.

· Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and Javascript issues as needed.

· Able to understand project requirements and put together accurate time estimates.

· Able to independently drive projects from beginning to end.

Requirements

· 3+ years of strong experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript is essential.

· Strong software development experience.

· Knowledge of SQL, Spring MVC, and writing unit tests.

· Experience developing and maintaining database-driven websites.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.

· Hibernate experience is a plus.
