As a member of the award winning Smarter Commerce Practice, the Executive IT Architect is responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific system, application or process designs. This includes working with client personnel and executives to identify functional requirements and subsequently working with and leading others in the identification, justification and design of the client's solution. Responsible for a wide range of design activities from requirements analysis through systems, application and/or process design specification. At the Senior level or higher, the position requires expert knowledge of IBM's Websphere Commerce software package, significant knowledge across multiple platforms, processes or architectures, as well as broad knowledge of new technologies, and will include directing the design efforts of less experienced architects. This position requires 75% travel.
