Websphere Engineer, WAS, Finance, £45k
Middleware infrastructure Engineer is required by one of the world's leading Tier One Banks to work at their North West base, focusing on Websphere Application Server middleware technology.
This role is ideal for a websphere infrastructure specialist looking to take the next exciting step up in their career. In this role you will be implementing changes to middleware components, to agreed standards and timescales. It ill be your responsibility to ensure that the design, build and implementation is operational and effective in a live environment.
Additionally you will be expected to perform live system support and maintenance of all middleware, you will also be expected to represent the organisation on conference calls and in meetings.
Essential Criteria:
- Extensive experience of Websphere Application Server
- Extensive Experience of Websphere MB/MQ
- Ability to understand high level solution design
- Ability to undertake low level middleware component design
- Excellent analytical ability
- Knowledge of software support and maintenance procedures
- Degree educated
