Websphere Message Broker Developer – Java – Financial recruitment
Main purpose of role
Working as a member of the Interfaces Team, deliver integration solutions to support project and BAU initiatives. Provide high-quality support to other Technology teams and the business.
Key Responsibilities
Design, development and testing of transactional message flows using the IBM MQ and Message Broker products
Identification and resolution of issues at all stages of the project lifecycle
Strict adherence to defect tracking and change control processes
Provision of production support
Skills required
Essential
Strong Java, with experience of implementing enterprise strength solutions using core java libraries
Strong MQ and Message Broker
Strong XML and XSLT
Strong first line support skills; able to own a problem through to its resolution
Investment banking background
Advantageous
Unix (Solaris)
.NET
Experience with messaging standards (FpML, FIX etc)
