WebSphere MQ Administrator / Specialist
WebSphere MQ Administrator / Specialist - Z/OS
MQ administrator required for our banking client in Edinburgh to look after their MQ environment running on z/OS mainframe.
The position will require:
- Technical knowledge of the environment ( MQ on zMainframe ) and associated technologies and the related standards and policies used to govern these technologies.
- Knowledge of the technical and operational processes used to deploy, support and maintain the technical infrastructure and/or business application services
- Diagnostic skills and an ability to analyse technical information from multiple sources, allowing the provision of highly effective solutions in complex environments
- Strong quality and service focus
- Experience in delivering complex projects and / or incident recoveries
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Demonstratable strong stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of MQ on AIX, Linux and Windows platforms would also be desirable but not essential.
