Location Tukwila, WA Security Clearance Required? No Security Clearance Required about security clearance definitions Position Description Create and revise the Weight and Balance Manual Chapter 1 for all Commercial Airplane models. Main responsibilities will include editing and formatting documents (e.g. creating and editing tables, text and graphics), coordinating with other groups for data, reviewing Airplane Flight Manuals for consistency and accuracy, maintaining back-up records and supporting customer requests for data. Position is highly self-regulating and deadline-driven. Direct contact with airline representatives may occasionally be required. Must have experience using Adobe FrameMaker, Illustrator, or other publishing software, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel and web-based information systems. Familiarity with database systems is a plus. Knowledge of aircraft weight and balance principles is required. Must be well-organized, flexible, a self-starter, have the ability to work independently and meet non-negotiable schedules to support airplane deliveries. Strong analytical and math skills with an attention to detail highly desirable. Strong communication skills, particularly writing skills with an emphasis on correct grammar, are required.
