Responsibilities
- Welding and tacking according to instructions, drawings and quality requirements. Tack up Shells and Flanges, weld shells and Flanges. Welding repair work and fittings.
- Ensure that safety and environmental requirements are followed.
- Focus efforts on achieving high quality results consistent with Vestas standards.
- Strive for continuous improvements to reduce lead time.
- Strive for achieving results.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates Degree in Welding/Metallurgy preferred, or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Apprenticeship or at least 3 years verifiable experience.
- Experience with MIG/MAG and SAW welding preferred.
