Booth Industries Limited is a successful growing, door manufacturing company. In order to continue meeting customer orders we are looking to recruit additional welder / fabricators working in a busy production environment. This will be a challenging and rewarding role for the right candidate.
WELDER / FABRICATOR JOB PURPOSE
The Welder / Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and welding the right type and quality of doors and frames to meet the order book and customer requirements on time and in full.
Key Accountabilities
Fabrication, plating and welding of engineered doors and frames in line with company standards
Highlighting manufacturing problem areas and liaising with supervisor and engineering regarding any technical issues.
Work closely with team to turn around items in an agreed timescale.
Working as part of a multi-skilled team.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Time served welder / fabricator (essential)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar job / role (essential)
Ideally minimum experience in a door manufacturing industryplating or similar industry
Able to absorb large quantities of information whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
Ability to write clearly and precisely.
Views deadlines as being set and not flexible.
Good time management skills
Flexibility of working hours will be required during busy periods.
