Position Description:

 

Welders will be responsible for welding customer parts to print, primarily MIG with some TIG.

 

Duties will include:

·       Builds, adjusts, and repairs fixtures to print.

·       Pulls raw materials or parts from inventory.

·       Updates inventory tracking system, both in and out. 

·       Welds parts to print.

·       Grinds and cleans parts to quality specifications.

·       Measures and checks quality of welded parts to assure they are to spec and print.

·       Completes necessary paperwork.

 

 

Requirements

 

The successful candidate for Welder will possess the following qualifications:

·       High school diploma required.  Technical classes helpful.

·       Minimum one year welding experience, either MIG or TIG.

·       Able to read prints.

·       Must be fluent in shop math.

·       Must be able to use shop measuring tools. 

·       Must be a team player.

·       Must be a self-starter with initiative to take project from start to finish with minimal supervision.
