Position: Welder Wage: $13.00-15.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd QPS Employment Group has multiple immediate opportunities available for Welders at a manufacturing company in Mosinee, WI. These are temp-to-hire positions. There are opening on both first and second shift. Responsibilities: * Weld parts to print specifications on a variety of conventional weld equipment to meet certification requirements. Ability to weld new products without much assistance * Ability to weld heavy metals, Flux Core welds * Record accurate production/material use to ensure accuracy of labor tracking, production control and physical inventory * Select and set-up welding equipment, examines welds to determine that customer standards or specifications and internal quality standards are met. * Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors. Requirements: * MUST have Mechanical Aptitude and math skills * Two-year technical school, or apprenticeship program and equivalent in work experience preferred. * Knowledge and proper use of wire feed and sub arc welding techniques. * Six months to one year related work experience desirable.
