WFA Business Leader 3, BSG Strategy Analytics Department Manager

The WFA Business Leader III, Business Services Group Strategy Analytics Department Manager is responsible for managing and providing effective day to day leadership and guidance for the BSG Strategy Analytics team (BSG SA). The BSG Strategy and Analytics team is responsible for evolving BSG strategy founded on the following key elements: -External market research and competitive intelligence -Information and analytical data -Financial analysis -Firm and Corporate strategic direction alignment, as well as changing business imperatives. The Department Manager will lead WFAs Information Strategy with responsibility for information governance, centralized information delivery and reporting, business intelligence and reporting tool ownership. The Department Manager achieves success through the effective management of the following key responsibilities: -Building strong collaborative relationships with key partners including BSG Leaders and external stakeholders specifically within WFA and Wealth Brokerage and Retirement, as well as Wells Fargo Enterprise. -Ultimate responsibility for deliverables and SLAs of teams and staff delivery of team accountabilities within deadlines; and at expected internal service level and quality standards. -Overseeing and managing HR functions to include performance management, performance reviews, employee development, hiring, coaching and guidance. -Motivating and directing team members to build a cooperative work team and ensure results. -Reviews PL, expenses and resource allocations. -Overseeing processes and ensures adequate controls. -Proactively seeking feedback from key partners and team to ensure continuous improvement Basic Qualifications: 10+ years experience in the financial services industry with 5+ years management experience. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: -10+ years leadership or strategy development experience in a business environment, having responsibility for large scale initiatives -10+ years experience leveraging tactical and strategic planning skills in a business or financial services arena (MBA, PMP, Six Sigma, or advanced degree in a related finance or strategy field) -10+ years experience partnering with leaders, as well as independently determining and implementing strategy, policies and goals having long range business impact -8+ years experience leveraging disciplined, business analysis methodologies to analyze business structure, develop and recommend high level, broad ranging business initiatives and strategies -8+years experience managing and/or leading others -8+ years reflecting the ability to gather necessary information and develop complex decisioning models -8+ years Demonstrated ability to absorb and synthesize detailed information; extracting and presenting actionable information, data and items to executive decision makers -8+ years experience in resource identification and management -Proven ability to build consensus, cooperation and gain buy-in among business leaders and partners within an organization leveraging strong and effective communication skills; displaying the ability effectively negotiate, influence and establish relationships with executive leaders -Proven ability to work, manage and deliver effectively with competing priorities Preferred Skills: Preferred Qualifications: -3+ years experience within Brokerage Operations and Technology, with deep understanding of functions, responsibilities and downstream interconnections -3+ years experience brokerage leadership experience, having responsibility for large scale initiatives in brokerage products and business lines -Proven record of meeting and exceeding expectations, offering superior performance -Strong tactical and strategic planning skills, reflecting the ability to focus on the big picture while understanding and promoting details across multiple groups -Expert level ability in Microsoft Office and other presentation/communication tools; specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint -Extraordinary attention to detail; consistent error-free delivery -Ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change
