Responsible for new business development of Merchant payment-processing solutions to commercial, government institutional and large corporate clients within an assigned geographic area. Responsibilities include: -Analyzing customer needs and providing consultative sales expertise -Developing and executing regular calling plans -Developing sales plans for the territory and key customer accounts -Meeting annual sales goals and sales activity targets -Partnering with bankers and treasury management sales consultants to identify prospects and new business opportunities -Presenting wholesale merchant solutions to clients and prospects, including merchant services, the Wells Fargo Payment Gateway and the Wells Fargo Gift Card -Leading the sales processes, including developing and presenting proposals and RFPs, overseeing credit reviews, negotiating contracts, completing appropriate paperwork, and assisting in the integration of new relationships -Consulting clients on PCI compliance requirements and other regulatory issues impacting the merchant services/card industry Office locations flexible between Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa and Orlando Basic Qualifications: 7+ years sales, business development or treasury management experience. Minimum Qualifications: -4+ years Merchant Services experience selling to commercial, government or national clients -Proven analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills -Able to demonstrate ability to present to senior level executives -Experience presenting at industry conferences -Experience with Treasury Management solutions Preferred Skills: -BA or BS degree
