Wills & Estates Lawyer
We’re looking for a Lawyer to join our Estate Planning team who has a reputation for high quality technical advice and second to none service. This role will see you join a progressive firm that rewards talent and results and will allow you to secure a rewarding and interesting legal role.
You’ll work alongside a team of experienced financial advice and retirement planning specialists who will provide ongoing development to help you achieve personal and career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the primary contact for clients seeking estate planning advice in Melbourne and Canberra, involving some monthly travel
- Prepare written estate planning advice
- Assist with related superannuation issues including succession and trustee structures
- Assist with estate and probate requirements
- Implement estate plans and draft legal documents including Wills, Testamentary Trusts, Powers of Attorney and Loan Agreements
- Maintain and develop the internal client referral network
- Assist with training for internal stakeholders
About you
You hold a current practicing certificate with a minimum 3 years PAE gained in private practice or a commercial role.
You have
- A strong interest in Estate Planning and Financial Services
- High motivation with demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- A strong desire to liaise closely with clients on a daily basis
- High level academic results in your LLB
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- The drive to build a successful career within a dynamic, supportive environment
Demonstrated experience in Estate Planning or superannuation succession planning is well regarded.
