We have an immediate need for a Windows, SAN Administrator with EMC experience
Job Description:
Help setting up, configuring, documenting, and testing a largely IT based SCADA system that includes an Emerson Ovation DCS system.
o System is comprised of:
• 4 Dell blade chassis
• 48 Dell blade servers
• 18 Dell workstations
• 25 Dell thin clients
• Dell/EMC SAN with 2 storage components
• Various network security appliances
• System administration and configurations
o System contains 5 domain controllers (4 full one read only) that need to be replicating properly
o Access groups and test users need to be configured
o Group policies need to be configured for multiple items (software configuration, permissions, IE certificates, OS functions, etc.)
• Assistance documenting the system configuration
• Design, implement and document disaster recovery
• Implement use of SAN to store process control and non-process related data
• Optimize multiple MS SQL installations
• Assist configuring SolarWinds configuration management and performance monitoring packages
• Assist configuring Dell Open Management software
• Assist configuring security appliances and clients
• Build and distribute thin client OS image
• Configure terminal server CAL pool and load balancer
• Verify DNS configuration, make any modifications necessary for multi-homed computers
• Provide OJT instruction on the above items
