Windows Support Analyst – Overnight
Windows Support Analyst required for my Banking client based in Milton Keynes to manage the overnight deployment of their Windows OS patch release program. The role is within the Wintel team which supports a large scale Windows Server infrastructure running a diverse range of business applications in their data centers.
The successful candidate must have the ability to operate flexibly both as a member of the team and independently. They will also act in a consultancy capacity to other team members and other teams as required and be able to show initiative to solve a range of diverse infrastructure problems and issues.
Candidates will need the following experience:
• Excellent Server Hardware Knowledge
• Windows Server 2012, 2008, 2003, 2000, NT
• Active Directory
• Windows Clustering
• VMWare ESX
• Experience with Blade Logic
• Experience with BES
it would also be beneficial for the candidates to have experience with:
• IIS 5.0 / 6.0
• Citrix / Terminal Services
• Microsoft Virtual Server VMM
• ISA Server (2004 2006)
• SMS 2003
• BizTalk (2004 2006)
