The HCSBU is currently seeking a Windows System Administrator at our location in Albuquerque, NM DESCRIPTION: Windows System Administrator: Responsible for troubleshooting centralized and distributed Windows systems. Provides system administration and thin client support on classified and unclassified networks. Provides technical expertise to organizations in the area of system upgrades, process improvements, security requirements, infrastructure improvements, etc. a Qualifications: Education: High school diploma (or equivalent GED) and 3 years of related experience. Basic Qualifications: The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work both independently as well as on a team. The candidate should have a strong attention to detail and be process focused and interested in identifying and implementing improvements to our administrative processes. Thorough understanding of Windows operating systems and Office applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Position requires that candidate obtain a DOE clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a DOE clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position. Position also requires a Consumer Investigation Report which consists of a criminal and credit check. Favorable results are required to support this contract. Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to carry and lift up to 40 lbs. Candidate must be able to maneuver in tight spaces to repair and run cables, etc. Candidate will be required to walk distances between customer buildings on the base. It is possible this may require up to 1-2 miles each day. Preferred Qualifications: Active DOE L or Q security clearance. Ticket dispatching experience.
