This international company is urgently looking for a system administrator!
They offer great possibilities in developing your skills by working in their datacenter of about 100 servers.
Function :
* You will do the installation and maintenance of the hardware and software equipment for all users.
* Implement, integrate support Customer infrastructure and applications.
* Manage backup infrastructure on Windows and Linux platforms.
* Defines, writes and maintains procedures and documentations on IT Europe infrastructure and best practices.
* Implement, maintain and control data security on all infrastructures will be part of you responsibilities.
* Take the lead of assigned projects, coordinating all technical and communication aspects.
* You will have to analyze the systems and suggest improvements or upgrades.
Profile :
* 3 - 4 years experience with Active Directory and Windows 2000/2003/XP in corporate environments. Excellent knowledge of Active Directory insights, including but not limited to GPO, RIS, DNS, WINS, LDAP, Windows Update/WSUS, Exchange Server (Standard/Enterprise), Systems Management Server.
* VMware knowledge is needed
* Good knowledge of LAN/WAN routing and security protocols is an advantage.
* Advanced hardware troubleshooting knowledge for computer and networking systems
* Theoretical knowledge of IP networking, x86 computers and operating systems
* Problem solving abilities
* Team Player
* Agrees to work non-standard business hours
* Fluency in English (speaking and writing) is a must, and Dutch or French
