MTM Technologies has an immediate 3+ month contract opportunity available in Wilmington, DE for an experienced Windows Systems Administrator. In this role, the Administrator is responsible for the daily tasks and operation of system availability.
General duties include:
Software installations and upgrades
Verification of licenses
Fault detection, repair and escalation of issues
Working with development teams to troubleshoot issues and conduct roll out of code
Maximizing operational efficiency
Implementation and planning of system installations
Maintaining and assuring compliance with security procedures and policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Systems Administration including configuration, software installation, backups and restores.
Knowledge and experience supporting and configuring mail, printing and security systems.
Knowledge of fundamentals of security.
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
Knowledge of paging, swapping, device drivers, file system concepts and basic routing switching.
Script writing experience.
